Fullerton Heritage Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by Fullerton Heritage for a United States History major who is interested in California or local history. That interest may be demonstrated by completing or enrolling in History 275 (History of California and the Pacific Coast) and/or membership and activities that reflect an interest in Southern California history. At the time of the award, the recipient must be taking at least 9 units, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, and plan to transfer to a four-year university or college. The student should display academic promise in the field of history and intend to study history, historic preservation, urban planning, landscape architecture or architecture. The recipient will be selected by the History Department staff. The recipient will be announced/introduced at the Fullerton Heritage annual meeting in June.

United States History Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by Dr. Richard DeVecchio and is for a United States History major, who has maintained a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or above, with a 3.5 GPA or above in all history classes. At the time of the award the recipient must be attending at least three-quarter time (enrolled in 9 units or more), though full-time (12 units) is preferable. The student must be transferring to a four-year university or college. The student should display superior academic promise in the field of history and intend to enter the teaching profession, or a field closely related to teaching if no other candidates are available. Recipient will be determined by History Department Staff.
