This scholarship recipient is selected by division faculty.
This scholarship is for one or more female Computer Information Services majors. Student(s) must have completed at least 30 units at F. C. with a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. and must include course work of 9 units in computer-related subjects. Vocational or transfer student in computer-related subjects is acceptable. Student should demonstrate good character, reliability, responsibility, willingness to work, and a positive constructive attitude; and must show promise in business related subjects using computer applications and innovative technologies. The Business and Computer Information Systems Division will determine recipient(s).
This scholarship is awarded to students who have completed at least 8 units of 200 level CIS courses with a G.P.A. of 2.75 or above. The student must also be a major in C.I.S. or related field of study and have financial need. The student can be continuing, graduating or transferring with 6 units or more per semester. Selection will be by the Business Education Scholarship Committee.
